The US Chamber of Commerce Fights for You

Although the US Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest federation of business in the world, with over 3 million business of all sizes represented, it is overwhelmingly an organization to help the little guy. Over 96% of the 3 million businesses the Chamber represents have 100 employees or less. The mandate of the US Chamber of Commerce is to fight for free enterprise, restraining Congress from legislating businesses out of existence.

The Chamber also sticks up for business also when it sees business freedom being eroded as a result of the actions and statements emitting from the White House, regulatory agencies, the courts, the court of public opinion, and governments globally. In order to achieve this daunting task the Chamber has hundreds on staff; among them some of the country’s leading policy experts, lobbyists, lawyers and orators. There is also an in-house law firm, the National Chamber Litigation Center (NCLC) which helps the Chamber to take an active stand in formulating and shaping business policy. The Institute for Legal Reform (ILR) is also a division of the US Chamber of Commerce.
